About the Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Douglas County Library was founded in 1975 and has a current enrollment of approximately 300 members.  Our primary goal is to raise public awareness of the Library and all it has to offer.  Last year we raised over $10,000 through sales of used and donated books. Future sales dates are listed on the Home Page.
